EXPAND THE NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION ACT OF 1993
TO INCLUDE AUTOMATIC, PERMANENT REGISTRATION LAWS

Congress should expand the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to include automatic, permanent voter registration laws.  The  expanded law should include the following:

Automatic registration, whereby citizens who interact with government agencies are automatically added to the voter rolls, unless they actively opt out.

State-wide access.  When a citizen registers to vote, they remain registered when they move anywhere within their state.

Online registration.

Ability to register to vote on Election Day.
